Alex Heflin is the Royalty Administration Coordinator for Opus 1 Music.
Jonathan Axelrod - President
His prolific background in the film and television community includes Emmy and Cable Ace Award winning films such as Jericho Mile, Friendly Fire and Against the Wall. As an independent producer, Axelrod’s highly successful sitcoms include Dave’s World (CBS), Can’t Hurry Love (CBS), Brother’s Keeper (ABC), Movie Stars (WB) and Some of My Best Friends (CBS). Axelrod’s prior positions include Vice President of ABC-TV Prime Time, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Production, Columbia Television, and President of New World Pictures.

Gary Helsinger - SVP Licensing and Creative
Gary Helsinger brings extensive music publishing and record label experience to Opus 1. He served as Director of A&R and Director of Special Markets, Film/TV at Universal Music Publishing, and was previously at Chrysalis Music Publishing where he signed The Smashing Pumpkins and discovered Jeff Buckley and Tool. Gary began his career in retail at the legendary Tower Records on Sunset Blvd., and has been a personal music manager, tour manager, concert promoter, and a recording/performing artist in the multi-platinum, Grammy nominated rock band, GREEN JELLY.

Levon Broussalian - Director of Music Supervision
Levon is our Music Search Guru! He has more than ten years in the entertainment industry in music and audio post production. A graduate of UCLA, his projects at Opus1 and Alan Ett Music Group have included music for Warner Brothers, Disney, NBC and more. When asked what his favorite things are, Levon said, "Besides music?" and said he'd have to get back to us. We still haven't heard from him.

Rodney Gordy has over twenty years in the entertainment industry with an emphasis in music publishing and creative marketing/sales. Rodney's clients range from Comcast Spotlight to U.S. Department of Justice with numerous broadcast stations and post production facilities included.
Licensing and Clearance Consultant
Sean Fernald - Licensing and Clearance Consultant
Sean Fernald has over fifteen years of major record label experience as an executive with MCA Records, Virgin Records, Capitol Records and Sony Music. He specializes in several areas including visual marketing, music video production and promotion, and music licensing. Fernald has extensive experience licensing music for film and soundtrack compilation projects and boasts a strong understanding of the dynamics and mechanics of securing final sync and master use licenses. Sean Fernald is also a voting member of NARAS (National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences) and has produced several horror films including Red Velvet and Xombie.
Vice President of Production
Ryan Neill - Vice President of Production
Ryan has been a Music Supervisor at Alan Ett Music Group since 1994. He is responsible for the acquisition of talent and is the head of production for the Opus1 Music Library catalog. His work includes the music supervision of several shows including History Channel's "Modern Marvels," WB Network's "Elimidate," and Court TV's "Forensic Files." Ryan graduated from Cal State Northridge with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Trumpet. When not working in the television realm, Ryan enjoys composing, playing the piano, hiking and being Dad to two boisterous boys.
